You would be working within a well-established experienced team who provide therapeutic counselling and psychological services to adults, couples, children and families.

What you need
- Accredited education and training in psychology, social work, counselling, mental health or a similar discipline leading to a professional qualification that is recognised in Australia
- Membership with a relevant professional body (such as AASW, APS, PACFA)
- Experience and skills in working with individuals, couples, children and families who present with a range of psychosocial, emotional and relationship issues.
- Demonstrable ability in implementing intervention strategies based on sound theoretical frameworks.
- Experience and skills in running group programmes with early intervention and wellbeing promotion focus.
- Demonstrable experience and ability in liaising and working with stakeholders such as referring agencies
- Skills and experience in the psychometric assessment of children (subject to qualifications)
- Demonstrable experience in working with:
- People in a separation context
- A sensitivity to the needs of people of different ethnic, linguistic, cultural, relationship orientation and religious backgrounds
- The special needs of people with disability
